Scrap metal, Wild olive wood, mohair, leather (2024)
This neckpiece explores the dialogue between natural and human-made materials using found agricultural metal, wood, bone, fibre, and copper. Working with an existing object shaped by time and use, the piece responds to rusted farm fragments and organic materials through processes of fitting, stitching, and interlocking. The work reflects on memory, labour, and ecology, transforming discarded matter into a playful, attentive act of material collaboration.
