For me, there is nothing quite as vibrant as the Karoo: from colours ranging from browns and greys embedded in every rock scattered across the plains to hues of purple and green landscapes contrasted by the orange or blue sky. The picture you see is all dependent on the natural cycles. For example, a scorching hot summer would result in an arid swept veld, rain would bring life to everything that makes up this place, and wind would let the klitsgras dance and cling to the wool of the sheep and my woollen socks as I walk through the veld.
